THE ORIGINS OF OHFC

OHFC was born out of the wake of Hurricane Maria. OHFC was first responsible for refurbishing an abandoned hospital to serve as a Free Healthcare Clinic for disaster relief. On October 13, 2017, this medical facility opened it's doors for the first time in nearly a decade in order to provide free primary care services and prescription medications to those struggling to recover from the effects of Hurricane Maria. The Free Clinic operated from October 2017 until June 2018 serving more than 2,000 patients and distributing more than 200,000 lbs of donated supplies.

Puerto Rico volunteer spreads smiles to those in need

THE OHFC MISSION

Our mission is very simple: To help those in need who are unable to help themselves. It is truly amazing how much impact even the smallest act kindness can have and how far that impact can reach. Gather a group of friends or coworkers and book your trip today to help spread the love! "All we are is simply how we treat each other"

THE OHFC VOLUNTOURISM PROGRAM

OHFC began coordinating volunteer groups to Puerto Rico in February of 2018. Since that time OHFC has guided more than 100 volunteers to the island. We currently provide support to Community Healthcare Clinics and serve on home to home misions providing in home medical care and distributing donated supplies to communities across Puerto Rico that are the hardest to reach.
