Rafael "Obama" Soto

Rafael "Obama" Soto is a man that loved his people dearly. He was a selfless and humble man who gave without ever asking for anything in return. Anyone who was blessed to come across this beautiful man will tell you that their lives are better off for knowing him. A stranger to none and a friend to all, his legacy continues through the work of the program that he built for his community that he loved.

Obama taught us all the power of a simple act of kindness. He shined out love everywhere he went and his spirit will carry on with us forever.

OUR MISSION

 The cost of homecare supplies is one of the largest burdens on Puerto Rican families who use them. As a result, the simple act of providing home care supplies at no cost makes an incredible impact physically, mentally, financially, and emotionally.

We have developed partnerships with on-island home care suppliers that allow us to purchase home care supplies at cost.

Our team of local volunteers meet every Saturday morning to distribute supplies and to spend quality time with community members we serve.

Consistency

Consistency

Each person we serve receives a visit and a re-supply from us every two weeks. This is to ensure that no one on our list ever has to pay for these supplies again.
