We are very excited for you to join One Human Family Coalition to take advantage of this amazing opportunity!


Organize your own group and join us for up to 7 days and 6 nights of volunteering your time and enjoying all that the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico has to offer.

We accept students and professionals


We accept groups of 4 - 8 people in size. 

 By volunteering with our organization, your contribution both in terms of time and money is vital for the development of our community services and for spreading awareness.

 You will leave the program with a better understanding of the beautiful people and culture of Puerto Rico, the unnecessary hardships that many face, and the joy that we work hard to bring to the people we serve.

What are the dates of our trips?

What area of Puerto Rico will we be in?

Quebradillas, Puerto Rico - Located near the Northwest corner of the island 

How much is the Volunteer Fee?

$850 per person

What does the Volunteer Fee cover?

 Housing

  • A private 7 bedroom home fully furnished with wifi. Located 1 block from La Plaza de Quebradillas, the center of town, you are in walking distance from most local restaurants and nightlife.

Vehicle(s)

  • Multiple 7 passenger vehicles available with drivers for each vehicle.

Breakfast

  • We bring in a local cook to prepare breakfast for you each morning in the home
  • You also have to option of purchasing your own breakfast at a nearby bakery

Translators

  • We provide as many translators as are needed

Mission Supplies

  • Homecare supplies for distribution

Island Guide

  • Our local guides facilitate all your post volunteer activities
  • visiting beaches, mountains, nightlife, other parts of the island, music, putt putt, etc. The choice is yours after ~4pm each day

Funding our Local Volunteer Team

  • all left over revenue funds our local volunteers
  • we provide community visits and distribute FREE homecare supplies every Saturday

What work will we be doing?

Community Care Missions

  • home-to-home missions distributing home care supplies, providing health education, and having quality visits with the community members

Grade School Education

  • visit the island's most isolated grade schools to provide health education
  • typically deep in the mountains

Nonprofit Assistance

  • Join other nonprofits across the island to assist in healthcare related events
  • Blood drives, vaccination events, screenings, etc.
  • the work is determined by the org we are assisting

What will our itinerary look like?

Day 1

OHFC facilitators will pickup the group from the airport and drive you to your home. Dinner will be facilitated upon your request.


Day 2 - 5 

8:00am - Breakfast
9:00am - Depart for mission
12:00pm - Lunch
12:45pm - Continue mission
4:30pm - Mission ends
5:00pm - Free time and island activities
8:00pm - Dinner
9:00pm - Nightlife 


Day 6 - Departure

TBD - Breakfast
